Caroline Baily—trained at Parvillée's—was a painter from Le Havre who achieved fame in Paris : she is listed on the Musée d'Orsay website, has exhibited at the Petit Palais (several of her watercolors are in the museum's collection: see link below), etc.

30 cm, good condition. Note the crackled effect; the plate is not in poor condition, it is simply a result of the firing process for the glaze.
