Cylinder Desk In Walnut And Marquetry
A mid-18th-century Transitional style cylinder desk in walnut and marquetry. The cylinder is opened by a pull-out mechanism covered in gilt leather. The interior features four drawers. The lower section has two rows of drawers, while the upper row has three drawers with locks and a working key. The large bottom drawer also has a working lock and key. This high-quality desk is in very good condition. Depth with the pull-out mechanism open: 92 cm. Height under the pull-out mechanism: 68.5 cm.
