Neo-gothic Painted Wooden Panel Depicting A Biblical Scene
This panel is made of painted wood, with beautiful gold leaf gilding applied to the background. All the figures are hand-painted. It is a Neo-Gothic subject inspired by the 15th or 16th century. All the sculptures and white elements were hand-carved. There are typical Neo-Gothic twisted columns. The panel is made of oak. You will notice some cracks and fissures in places. Everything was done by hand; the work is sumptuous, a beautiful representation of 19th-century Neo-Gothic. The imperfections due to age must be accepted.
