Pair of 19th-century Restoration period candlesticks in polished, chased and guilloché bronze (gilt color), converted into lamps. Newly electrified: gilt brass sockets for E27 screw-in bulbs, new wires.
The power supply is routed through the inside of the candlestick.
The pointed oval lampshades were created from fabric with floral decoration in the style of 18th-century Indian fabric.
This lampshade shape has the advantage of being shallow, ideal for mantelpieces and consoles.
