Flying Cat In A Kitchen

A charming gouache painting depicting a kitchen table with fruit, a knife, a large fork, various fruits and vegetables, several containers, and a plate with pieces of meat, to which a cat is added. The gouache is executed with great finesse and is reminiscent of the art of Johann Rudolf Feyerabend (known as Paul Lelong), an artist who, at the end of the 18th and beginning of the 19th centuries, specialized in small still lifes on stone tables. The gouache is framed in a contemporary molded and blackened wooden frame and measures 23.3 x 18.8 cm without it. Unfortunately, the gouache has some stains, particularly on the right side.
