Large and beautiful oval serving platter, known as a "Partridge" platter, Avignon circa 1750 by the master silversmith Harrault Jean Baptiste. Model with rimmed edges. Original patina, not repolished. Minor scratches from use. Beautiful hallmarks for 18th-century units of measurement engraved on the back: "3m2o1g". Dimensions: 35.4cm x 24.2cm. Weight: 750g.
