A very pretty little rectangular box with rounded corners, veneered from rosewood and palisander, with a neat hinge and brass mounting.
Brass fillets frame lovely, gently threaded marquetry on lid, which is in beautiful condition and features a mother-of-pearl medallion on its centre. The push-button lock works.
