A remarkable statuette of a standing, victorious Lokapala warrior crushing a spirit, his headdress in the shape of a peacock feather.
Ochre terracotta with polychrome paint.
Mingqi are ritual funerary statuettes representing beings destined to serve the deceased in the afterlife.
This statuette was a protective figure.
Dimensions: 53 x 20 x 15 cm.
Restoration to the right branch of the headdress.
Polychromy very well preserved.
