This mirror bears the plaque "Mazarin unique piece Henry Bernard." Henry Bernard was a student of Line Vautrin. It is in superb condition; you will notice a few typical cracks in the talosel. Henry Bernard (1912-1994) was a French architect and urban planner. Line Vautrin (1913-1997) was a French artist, designer, and creator of jewelry and decorative objects. Throughout her life, she produced thousands of objects, including "witch mirrors." She is interested in a new substance: cellulose acetate, from which she derives a new material called "talosel."
