A lovely pair of patinated and gilt bronze candlesticks, each depicting two putti supporting a vase on their head. One male, representing day, and the other female, representing night. Carrara marble bases (some minor chips visible in photos), encircled by two rows of gilt bronze mounts. Paris, circa 1780.
