Six Beautiful, High-quality Coffee Cups In Paris Porcelain, Manufactured By Gosse Around 1850-1860.
Artist: Gosse à Paris.
Magnificent set of six cups and six saucers in Paris porcelain, decorated with floral motifs highlighted in fine gold, bearing the prestigious signature of Maison Gosse, 16 rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau in Paris. This service, dating from the Louis-Philippe or Napoleon III period, circa 1850-1860, is distinguished by its exceptional craftsmanship. Each bouquet of flowers, delicately hand-painted, is a miniature work of art, each one unique. The interior of the cups is entirely covered in fine gold gilding. The polylobed rims add a touch of elegance. The condition is also remarkable. Apart from a few minor losses of gilding on the cups, there is nothing else to report. Saucer diameter: 12.1 cm. Cup height: 6 cm. Shipping with invoice, fast, very careful, and secure.
