Aubusson-style Knotted Rug, 350x260 Cm

A very elegant Aubusson-style rug, featuring a delicate floral design and a classic French-inspired composition reimagined in a soft, luminous palette.

The main field, in a subtle, slightly patinated grayish-ivory tone, is adorned with a central floral medallion in the shape of a crown. This medallion is composed of a harmonious bouquet of wildflowers in shades of off-white, pearl gray, soft green, and light touches of anise green, bringing freshness and a modern feel to the whole. An oval floral garland frames this central motif, creating an impression of lightness and movement while elegantly structuring the design.

The overall effect is enhanced by a refined ornamental architecture of stylized scrolls, arabesques, and volutes in shades of bluish-gray, taupe, and sage green. The discreet and balanced border echoes these decorative elements in a harmony of soft hues, reinforcing the rug's sophisticated and soothing appearance.

Condition : Used. There are a few halos in the ivory background at the level of the central medallion, which has developed a slight patina over time, as well as discreet stains and soiling along the edges. These marks are barely noticeable indoors but are more apparent in photos or videos taken in natural outdoor light (available upon request).

The overall appearance remains harmonious and does not detract from the rug's general aesthetic.
The fringes have been carefully folded back along their entire length for a cleaner, more elegant look (visible in the last photo).

note : It is possible, upon request, to add a custom-made professional anti-slip backing, preventing the rug from slipping or moving on parquet or any other type of flooring.
