Important Antique Baccarat Talleyrand Crystal Service, Plain Pattern (63 Pieces)

An elegant and substantial antique crystal glassware service from the renowned Baccarat crystalworks. This timeless design, characterized by a smooth bowl and delicate circular stem, is distinguished by the purity of its lines. It offers the exceptional brilliance, clarity, and ringing for which this prestigious French crystalworks is famous. Authenticity and Dating: Some of the glasses bear the Baccarat stamp, acid-etched under the base (a marking introduced in 1936). Most of this older service is unsigned: pieces produced by the factory before 1936 only had paper labels, which have disappeared with time and use.

The set comprises 63 pieces in total:
The main Baccarat Talleyrand service in very good condition (40 pieces):
10 champagne coupes (8 cm)
10 water/wine glasses (approx. 10.7 cm high),
8 wine glasses (approx. 8.8 cm high)
11 port/vin cuit glasses (approx. 8 cm high),
1 single glass (approx. 10 cm high).

We are also including the following (23 additional pieces):
12 Baccarat glasses of the same pattern, with slight chips on the rim (ideal for replenishing sets)
3 smooth crystal decanters and their stoppers (unstamped, heights: 20.5 cm and 22 cm)
8 Cut crystal liqueur glass on a stem (Harcourt model; 9,2cm).

Condition: Very good overall condition for the main piece. The crystal is perfectly translucent, without any white haze or opacity. Antique pieces may contain minute bubbles trapped within the material, a testament to their antique craftsmanship. Shipping: We take particular care in shipping our crystal pieces.
