Very rare Pocket watch with jumping hours and minutes, System A. Kaiser.
Late 19th century, 1890.
Alexander Kaiser on December 19, 1883 files patent 27626 class 47 for a gear of meters.
This type of mechanical watches with digital display are called jumping-digit watches.
Unlike traditional hand clocks, this one uses rotating discs that display the hours and minutes through small windows (openings) on the dial.
Gold movement with lever escapement,
White enamel dial in excellent condition.
Solid silver engraved case.
Diameter 53mm
