Pair of gilt bronze mermaid lamp bases (20th century) Pair of gilt bronze lamp bases depicting a Melusine mermaid (or two-legged mermaid) with raised arms. Neoclassical and Art Deco style. First half of the 20th century. Original patina with a slight trace of oxidation at the bottom of the cup. The electrical system needs to be replaced (broken socket). On display at Galerie Courcelles Antiquités, 97 rue de Courcelles, in the 17th arrondissement of Paris.
