Georges Château (19th-20th Centuries) - The Cathedral Of Santiago De Compostela
Oil on panel. Hand-signed. From the bucolic banks of the Sarela River, the view of the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela is transformed into an architectural revelation emerging from a verdant horizon. The river's course, lined with lush willows and damp moss clinging to the stones, serves as a natural stage from which the Baroque towers stand out against the Galician sky with an almost mystical verticality. The pink granite, eroded by centuries of rain and colonized by golden lichens, seems an organic extension of Mount Pedroso itself, towering over the town's houses like a beacon of faith watching over the valley.
