This piece is a modernized version of the "Wooton" desk, created by the Wooton Desk Company of Indianapolis in 1874.
A few years later, in 1928, the Swiss architects and designers Mummenthaler and Meier designed a modernized version.
This rare French model is upholstered in bottle green faux leather.
The lamp is installed, tested, and functional.
The interior is made of maple and teak, and the exterior is covered in dark green faux leather.
