Round Coffee Table In Elm Burl, Art Deco Decorative Work - 1941

Elegant circular coffee table made of elm burl, a material particularly prized for the richness and depth of its grain. The tabletop features a superb fan-shaped veneer, revealing the characteristic swirling patterns of the burl, which give each piece a unique character. (More photos to come, including those showing its condition.) Elm burl, now rare, was especially valued by cabinetmakers for the richness of its natural patterns and its exceptional decorative appeal. A very beautiful decorative piece. Period: circa 1970. Materials: elm burl and wood. Shape: circular. Origin: European work in the spirit of the Art Deco revival. To be collected in Albi, shipping possible via Cocolis (contact me).
