19th Century Alabaster Sculpture, Allegory Of Maternity.
An elegant 19th-century alabaster sculpture depicting a semi-reclining nude woman on a beautifully draped base, holding a young boy by the shoulder. There is also a small chip on the index finger of the woman's left hand; otherwise, it is in good overall condition. Dimensions: base 50 cm x 26 cm, height 23 cm.
