- This mahogany armchair features two saber-shaped rear legs, while the straight front legs terminate in feline paws. The plain, convex front is surmounted by armrest supports carved in the form of swans, whose wing tips curl into volutes. The square, molded armrests connect to the back via an ornament of volutes at the ends, resembling a stylized lotus leaf. A square, open back with convex uprights ending in volutes completes the seat. - Upholstered in traditional style, the seat is covered in a green velvet embossed with rosettes, a motif that stylistically complements Empire-period woodwork.
