Italian School, 17th century, oil on canvas depicting the presumed portrait of Marie Mancini. She was the niece of the French minister Cardinal Mazarin and also the first love of Louis XIV. This beautifully restored portrait shows elegant designs of jewelry and lace. It is presented in a carved wooden frame in the Louis XIV style.
