An elegant small cabinet for use between rooms, opening with a door (beautiful mahogany flame-shaped), pilastered uprights, gilt bronze mounts, and a clover-shaped lock. This charming little Empire-period cabinet from the 19th century, mounted on oak, is a Parisian work attributable to Jacob Desmalter (1771-1841). It has a blue Turquin marble top.
