Pair Of Napoleon III Period Furniture, Stamped Fourdinois
Dating from the Napoleon III period, this elegant pair of display cabinets features rosewood veneer in a herringbone pattern, framed in ebonized and stained wood. The uprights are adorned with gilt-bronze caryatids, and each cabinet is topped with a veined white marble slab. Stamped Fourdinois, these cabinets were exhibited at the Universal Exhibition and measure 100.5 x 102 x 44 cm. Provenance: Druot auction, June 30, 2018.
