Large Seat Stamped With The Georges Jacob Logo
Magnificent Louis XVI period chair stamped by one of the greatest masters of his time, Georges Jacob. This wide armchair with a flat back, also known as a "queen's back" chair, is in very good condition and perfectly stable. It has recently been reupholstered in tan leather in good condition (with a few stains). Having become a master craftsman in 1765, he used this stamp until 1796: "I.IACOB". 18th century
