Very large earthenware platter by Jules Vieillard in Bordeaux, painted with a scene from a well-known engraving, "Jesus Risen in Emmaus." Impressed mark: Vieillard & Cie Bordeaux. Monogrammed and dated 1833, which does not correspond to the date of the impressed mark. 19th century. Good condition, very slight rubbing on the rim.
