A Neoclassical style gilt bronze valet stand by Maison Jansen. Very easy to move, it rests on a tripod base with casters. The double body is made of twisted bronze; one section houses a horizontal trouser rack upholstered in red velvet and finished with bronze ornaments, while the second, positioned higher, offers a solid mahogany hanger, a display stand for shirts and jackets, and is accompanied by a bronze cup for storing watches, cufflinks, etc. It is finished with a carrying handle for easy transport.
