A Louis XVI style cylinder desk in rosewood, amaranth, and stringcourse veneer. It opens to reveal three drawers and a cylinder concealing a compartment, three drawers and a shelf in the upper section, and three drawers in the frieze in the lower section. It rests on four tapered legs ending in gilt bronze sabots. The top is encircled by an openwork brass gallery. Dimensions: H 113 cm W 100 cm D 52 cm
