19th Century Gilt Bronze Altar Candlestick With Decoration Of Three Sacred Symbols - H 73 Cm
Important bronze church candlestick with a gilt patina, resting on a tripod base with claw feet and acanthus leaves. The three sides feature medallions in relief: the Sacred Heart, a winged cherub, and the Trinitarian Triangle with the Tetragrammaton. The fluted and gadrooned shaft terminates in a wide original cup. In good condition with harmonious wear that highlights the fineness of the chasing. A tall piece (73 cm) that will integrate perfectly into a classic interior but will equally assert its character in a contemporary decor with a historical and sculptural touch.
