Trône Napolitain En Bois Doré, époque Louis XIV, Italie, XVIIe Siècle
An important Neapolitan throne in gilded wood from the Louis XIV era, an extraordinary example of Southern Italian Baroque carving art.
The piece is distinguished by its monumental forms and rich decorative features: powerful volutes, leaf motifs, plant-like elements, and refined relief carvings that run throughout the entire structure, from the crown to the base.
