Miniature landscape composed of wood chips and dust, stained and glued onto ivory, likely French or English work from the second half of the 19th century. Depicts a lively river scene with a bridge and medieval ruins in the background, in the Romantic style. High-quality blackened wood frame with original brass rim. Good overall condition, a small dent in the frame. Miniature only: 6.5cm. Any questions welcome.
