Napoleon III Style Coffee Table With Floral Marquetry
A Louis XV style marquetry side table, late 19th century, featuring floral marquetry in various precious woods of different colors. It opens with a drawer in the frieze. The upper top, entirely inlaid with flowers, is bordered by a fine carved molding. The lower shelf, also inlaid with flowers, is surrounded by a gilt bronze crown. Some gilt bronze mounts adorn the ebony legs. In good condition, recently revarnished by a cabinetmaker employed by the previous owner.
