His wife who lived in the City of Artists rue Ordener had sold it to me, telling me that her husband, although a recognized sculptor in the 1930s, did not have the means to have his sculptures made in bronze. he had moreover made bas-reliefs for a church in Paris whose name I have forgotten this very typical plaster of the 1930s Represents the 4 seasons according to a graphic design very typical of the Art Deco period it is signed lower left which proves that the artist considered it a perfectly finished sculpture to be complete from 1926 to 1960 Fernand Guignier has 16 times at the Salon des Artistes Français at the Palais de Tokyo (Palais des Musées d'Art Moderne) in Paris.
