A very pretty Asian frame, entirely carved with birds on the pediment, bats, baskets of flowers, and small rodents. The ornamentation is very elaborate and finely carved; a beautiful piece of sculpture with a very realistic effect. The wood has a lovely patina from age. Made in China, late 19th century. This frame contains a painting on rice paper, which is somewhat damaged. It is in very good condition, with no missing pieces. Dimensions: Height: 39 cm, Width: 25 cm
