A Louis XIV-style side table, late 19th century. It features violet wood veneer and a painted door by the artist Crozet, depicting a romantic scene of a dancing couple accompanied by musicians. The finish is Martin varnish. The cabinet is curved on the front and sides. It boasts a generous array of gilt bronze mounts, including door-frame garlands, side ornamentation, sabots, and bronze mounts. The "Aleppo breccia" marble top has no repaired breaks or cracks. There are a few minor chips. It has two varnished shelves. The gilt key and lock are in working order.
