Antique Straw Marquetry Travel Box, 18th Century, Scented
Superb antique travel perfume box in straw marquetry. It features a two-tone geometric design on the top. The first lid opens to reveal an engraved genre scene of a gallant woman and a mirror (the mirror's condition is worn, see photo). The second compartment displays another gallant scene with several compartments, and finally, at the bottom, two small drawers. A very beautiful and rare item in excellent condition. Its dimensions are 12 x 9.5 cm and 10.5 cm high.
