Military Pigeon, 19th Century. Velte.

This wrought iron measuring jug, 1 meter long with a rectangular cross-section, is a very rare find. Dating from the 19th century, it features two different graduations: one in centimeters (100 cm) and one in liters (600 liters). A military item from the Napoleon III era, it is marked "Military Supplies." It bears the hallmark of Beranger & Cie Lyon (Weighing Instrument Manufacturer 1848/50). Dimensions: 103.5 cm.
