In a lovely frame, a battle or pillaging scene, very well executed, attributed to Christian Reder (1656-1729), a specialist in battle scenes, can be found in many museums. Note the small tortoise at the bottom, a very amusing detail. There is a small area of missing paint and repainting in the upper left of the sky, 17th century.
