Small Marquetry Chest Of Drawers, Louis XVI Period, 18th Century
A small marquetry commode with three drawers, each adorned with bronze handles decorated with portraits in medallions and faux keyhole escutcheons. The top is light gray marble veined with beige. It rests on four tapered legs. A small crack on the middle drawer and numerous minor marks on the front, clearly visible in the photos, should be noted, but these do not detract from the charm of this small Louis XVI/Directoire period commode (18th century).
