244 plates, first edition 1777 folio (40.5 cm x 27 cm), 5th volume completing the 4 volumes of text of the supplement to Diderot and d'Alembert's Encyclopedia, published in Paris by Panckoucke, Stoupe, and Brunet. The plates are remarkably fresh, complete, with traces of dampness on a few plates but no alteration to the engraving (see photo). Overall in good condition. More photos available upon request.
