Erotic 52-card Game, 1830
A 52-card erotic deck, visible through the card, dating from the Romantic era (circa 1830-40). It comes in its original (torn) fabric case. These decks were often found in brothels and other places of pleasure. Each card reveals an erotic or pornographic image when held up to the light. The deck is in superb condition; it is very rare to find a complete, original deck that has not been reconstructed and shows different patinas. Dimensions: 54 x 88 mm.
