16th-century Stone Sculpture Of A Saint

Beautiful limestone sculpture, rough-hewn back, depicting a crowned saint, possibly Saint Barbara, standing against a medieval tower. The crown rests on her wavy hair. She wears a belted robe and a cloak, one panel of which falls forward in wavy folds (polychrome outline possibly later; one hand is missing and there are small losses). Height: 96 cm, feet: 27 x 17 cm
