Neo-empire Style Chandelier By Maison Jansen (in The Style Of)
Large and beautiful 6-light chandelier in brass or gilt bronze and black lacquered metal, adorned with 6 frosted glass shades that diffuse a soft light. The gilt metal finials evoke the symbols of Empire furniture, reused by Neo-Empire furniture designers of the 1950s and 60s, such as Baguès and especially Jansen, as well as designers like Jean Arbus.
Very good condition. No damage to report, except for a few chips at the base of the shades, which are not visible.
