Art Deco cheval mirror by Octave Dupont, 1930s. This Art Deco cheval mirror from the 1930s, signed Octave Dupont, comes from a cabinetmaker's workshop in Northern France. The piece is distinguished by its superb knotty walnut veneer, with continuous swirling grain from the drawers to the apron, giving it a very warm and unique character. The large oval tilting mirror is framed by two small symmetrical cabinets, each with two drawers, resting on tapered legs typical of the period.
