A yellow gold bracelet with knotted links from the second half of the 19th century.
It features a ratchet clasp and safety chain.
Presented in a burgundy leather case decorated with small tools and monogrammed ME by the Gimilini firm, 11 rue Crébillon, Nantes.
Hallmark eagle's head (750/1000 fineness)
Hallmark rhinoceros head with truncated horn (a hallmark used for chains and bracelets in Paris from 1852 onwards).
The maker was Charles Godin, of La Bijouterie, 50 rue de Turenne, Paris.
He specialized in gold chains and bracelets. The clasps are registered for flexible bracelets.
Total weight: 34.10g.
Good overall condition, with a slight dent.
