Platinum And Diamond Casual Necklace, Circa 1910
A Belle Époque "negligee" necklace from around 1910. This style draws inspiration from 18th-century French decorative arts and is characterized by the use of platinum and the delicate nature of the jewelry. The necklace is in its original box. It features two 0.50-carat diamonds, one 0.25-carat diamond, three 0.5-carat diamonds, and eight 0.2-carat diamonds, as well as approximately fifty rose-cut diamonds. The total weight of the necklace is 10 grams. The chain alone measures 18 cm on each side, for a total of 36 cm. The pendant is 42 cm long.
