Two magnificent Spanish panels depicting a man and a woman, created using the sgraffito technique. In sculpture, sgraffito, called estofado, was used to create detailed designs on clothing by scraping away layers of paint to reveal gold leaf or other contrasting colors.
Beautifully finished and in very good condition.
Two old collector's labels are affixed to the back of the panels.
