Charles KORSCHANN and LOUCHET, founders, EXCEPTIONAL pair of bronze Art Nouveau lamps, circa 1900. This lamp is truly UNIQUE today. There are no other known examples; it is a genuine pair: see the position of the hands. Both lamps are signed and bear the foundry mark. Good overall condition, slight wear to the patina, needs to be electrified, one hand is slightly bent. Height to the top of the "candle" = 52.8 cm. Provenance: auction houses.
