his magnificent 19th-century bas-relief depicts a portrait of Venus and a cherub, superbly framed in a Rococo giltwood frame. This original sculpture was carved from a shimmering stone, likely granite. It is signed and dated 1875, Rome. The bas-relief measures 52 cm wide, 42 cm high, and 6 cm deep, making it a medium-sized piece, ideal for any art collection.
