In very good condition.
"Geometric" model in blown-molded glass by Edouard Cazaux for the glass artist David Guéron (Degué), founder of the Compiègne crystalworks. Colorless-translucent glass, satin-finished by acid etching and polished to a high gloss, decorated with a wide, continuous relief design of polygonal and spherical geometric figures on a smooth, vermiculated background.
This vase is listed in "Le verre art & design XIXe-XXe siècles" by Yves Delaborde (ACR éditions) and in "Le génie verrier de l'Europe" by Giuseppe Cappa (Mardaga éditions). Dimensions: height 23 cm, diameter 24.5 cm, neck diameter 8.5 cm, base diameter 11.9 cm. Weight: 3.9 kg.
