Large Napoleon III Gilt Bronze Photo Frame With Pink Moiré Mat

A beautiful, generously sized frame from the Second Empire, it is surmounted by an acanthus leaf wreath. Its frame is gadrooned with a beaded edge featuring alternating floral decorations. The inner frame for the photograph offers the same design in a smaller version. The mat is made of pink moiré, the back is cardboard, and it includes its protective glass. It can be displayed on a surface or hung on the wall. Dimensions for the photograph: 20 x 12.5 cm.
